The course has been adapted from my book
Living Deliberately. Like the book, it tries to explain what deliberate living is, how you can pursue it, and what effect it is likely to have on your life. It does this by showing you how to derive a life philosophy that embodies your highest ideals and offers guidance in every situation. The resultant philosophy combines teachings taken from various religions and schools of thought into an interlocking set of guidelines for the living of your life.
The course is offered in three different formats:
- The daily format - aimed at people who are able to put a whole day aside to attend the course. It takes two days to complete. Preferably held on weekends and public holidays.
- The hourly format - aimed at people who are too busy to spend a whole day preoccupied with the course, but are nevertheless able to set aside an hour at a time (each day, every several days or per week). The course lasts for twelve sessions. It can be held during the working week as well as on weekends and public holidays.
- The correspondence format - aimed at people who are unable to attend the course in person. It takes the form of e-mail correspondence and is tailor-made to suit each person. The pace and duration can vary greatly, depending on individual circumstances.
